Born from the long established and hugely successful Healing Hotspurs, and now playing under the Grimsby Borough banner, the majority of these players have played their whole amateur league careers in the same team together since starting Primary School.

Under the first class coaching team of Matt Smith, Rob Taylor & Mark Crow, Healing Hotspurs completed the 2022/23 season as unbeaten league champions & Lincolnshire County Cup runners up.
The team are now known as the Grimsby Borough Hotspurs U18’s Mens – or GBH for short!

Previous to their 2022/23 unbeaten season, the team where also league champions in 2021/22.
And it wasn’t just in the league that the team excelled, Healing Hotspurs were also back to back summer tournament winners, and known locally as THE team to beat – though very few did!

And of course this level of achievement over so many seasons doesn’t happen by chance. Our coaching team have been there from day 1. Matt, Rob & Mark have seen these lads progress from ball chasing rug rats beginning their Primary School journey, through to where they are now – U18’s – Men!
Results that are testament to their skill, passion, knowledge & dedication to the ‘beautiful game’.
