Torr Engineering were contacted by a major local packaging company, Lindum Integrated Packaging Systems, to design and install an air conditioning system for their newly planned office space extension.
The brief was to air condition an existing office which was to become a training room, and to air condition the newly built open plan office area, to provide both cooling and heating, allowing removal of an existing wet system of radiators.
The Mitsubishi SCM125ZJ-S1 condensing unit allows connections for 6 independent circuits, for a total capacity of 12.5kW.
An existing server room a/c system was re-piped to allow for the new system’s multi split condenser to sit underneath it, within the adjoining warehouse.
The install was commissioned and completed in September 2011, on time and in budget. The completed system used 4 of the 6 possible circuits, allowing spare capacity for future upgrades or additions.
